Waterways in the Outaouais – Marine Poirier Masson Thurso Gatineau

Marine Poirier Masson Thurso Gatineau

Waterways in the Outaouais

In the National Capital Region (Gatineau-Ottawa), there is no need to drive hours to discover magnificent bodies of water. The Outaouais is overflowing with waterways, each more extraordinary than the other. For this purpose, we suggest the Ottawa River. The main tributary of the St. Lawrence, it serves as a border between the provinces of Quebec and Ontario. A major attraction for boating, it offers breathtaking views, access to the Rideau Canal locks in Ottawa and ideal conditions for a wide variety of water activities such as boating, water skiing, wakeboarding, wake surfing and recreational or sport fishing. Remember that finding diesel on the river is not easy, so it’s best to be proactive and plan your refueling carefully!
